Do you have a primary school aged child interested in playing in a basketball team? Or have a group of school aged kids that want to compete?
Welcome to the Inner West Ballers Primary School Age development basketball competition!
This competition is running in term 2 on Saturday afternoons, hosted by Inner West Ballers Basketball. It is designed for all participants of primary school age to participate in a friendly competition. Many of the participants within our current program are transitioning from our “skills” sessions and are ready to join a team to compete. This competition is designed to help the participants continue to build on the skills and teamwork that they have been learning and apply them in a competition!
Once we have the final list of participants, teams will be created and balanced and there will be a mix of ages and ability within each team. Our 2 divisions are:
ORANGE: Mostly younger beginner to intermediate level players
BLACK: Mostly older, experienced players with a higher skill level
Please note, coaches have final say on player placement. However we will take into consideration friendship groups and personal requests.

Term 2 draw will be confirmed before the start of term.
MIX PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE COMPETITION KEY DATES & IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Participants new to our comp, please reach out to organise a time to come in for a skills assessment.

Orange - Saturdays 12.30pm-3pm during term only. Round 1 will be Saturday 4th May with the finals on Saturday 6th July. Full draw to be confirmed.
- Black Division - Saturdays 2.10pm-6.00pm. Round 1 will be Saturday 4th May with the finals on Saturday 6th July. Full draw to be confirmed.

WHERE: Wilkins Public School Indoor Court - entrance via Park Lane walk in gate (off Park Rd). Map here.
- All games are 50mins including warm up & half time. We estimate 9 total games including finals (inclusive of any byes where necessary). All teams participate in finals week.

Fully timed games with referees, bench staff and officials to help the boys prepare and play as well as new basketball rings and a digital scoreboard!

COST: $148.50 for the season (term 2).
- Additional cost: Team singlet purchase $50. Only necessary if you don't already have a black/white Inner West Ballers competition singlet from 2023. Team singlets are re-usable for all our competitions. You only need to purchase a new one if you need to upsize or due to loss/damage.

CREDITS/REFUNDS - Please note, when we process refunds, there are fees and charges that we are not refunded for once paid. Moving forward, all refunds will incur a 4% charge. However, we do offer the full amount for credits.
